I wonder who/what made the few Dem senators switch and support Pelosi.

Yesterday there were at least 4 who wanted her to send the articles to the Senate (Feinstein, Blumenthal, Murphy and Manchin) but today MSNBC is reporting that they are no longer saying this and are supporting her decision to wait. Did calls from constituents or a talk with Schumer do the trick?

She is the most powerful Democrat in the country now, as she resides in Trump's head.

for too long is scary. I picture cobwebs, etc linger in there as well as creepy spiders and perhaps a few tumbleweeds.. I do not envy her that position for a second.

Perhaps Iran understands American politics, afterall. They don't want to do anything that will stop the Democrats from focusing on Trump's removal. And Democrats and concerned others realize that they need to how progress in that effort?

I can hear it now: "Son, is your problem with Ms. Nancy that she's smarter than you or can you just not follow a woman's lead?"

I RESPECT Pelosi, and I am willing to put my future in her hands (in all honesty there is no other choice I see).

Pelosi reminds me of my Paternal Grandmother..... I soooo love her.

...call her little lady. Kept saying it would do her no good to keep this up because Mitch and all the Senators had made up their minds and that was that. He was carrying water for the GOP in such big buckets I wondered if his shoulders hurt.

He was given a lot of time by Nicolle W, but as soon as he was gone she acted as though he had not made a contribution at all. Wonder if he'll be back.

In any case, there's a reason I usually (not always) refer to her as Madam Speaker: she IS on a par with Tip O'Neill and Sam Rayburn, possibly even surpassing them, a great power in her own right, runs a co-equal branch of government, and is next in line to the Presidency.

She's not to be patronized.
