This is superficial with certain inaccuracies. One is that the stock market was fueled by buying on margin, which even small investors were doing. That's not mentioned at all.

Also, the stock market crash of 1929 did not affect the 20's. Not at all. The 20's were over by then, and the Crash greatly impacted the next decade, the 1930s. The other thing that is always left out in talking about the Crash is that the farm economy was terrible during the entire decade of the 20s.

A while back I took the time to talk to people who were teens or young adults in 1929, and every single one of them said essentially, the Crash was no surprise. We knew it was coming.

And while it does promote knowing history, the final quote from Henry Ford is truly ironic, since he also said, "History is more or less bunk" (Usually incorrectly quoted as "History is bunk.&quot .
