There's no reason for us to be cooperating at all with the coordinated, unconstitutional corruptions of Moscow Mitch and an impeached President. There is no reason for us to be turning over the articles of impeachment to the Senate.

We have to start believing and acting on the inherent value in fully opposing, at every turn, those who have, day after day for many years, proved themselves to be utterly contemptible human beings. Why the hell does it matter what those who so consistently and predictably choose to be dishonest and cruel think? Why do we even calculate into the political equation the opinions of those who have admitted themselves that they've totally abandoned any pretense of moral action?

I question myself now any time I agree with a statement a Trumpist makes, and for good reason. They are consistent enough in their corruptions that that almost never happens, though. They go out of their way to be awful people, and we need to go out of our way to be the opposite of them in every way.

For that matter, why do we listen to perpetually useless Democratic senators who only show up in any sense when they intend to undermine Democrats' strategy to save the damned country?


Impeached Presidents are to be tried in the Senate. There is to be a trial. Not a "fair" trial, or a "real" trial, but a TRIAL. That means witnesses and evidence. The qualifiers we keep putting in front of "trial," as if there can be some form of trial at all when nothing is evaluated, aren't helpful. We want a TRIAL.

Turning over the articles to MM only does ONE thing- it legitimizes the bullshit dismissal of the charges against Trump. It accomplishes nothing else, certainly no benefit to our country or the Democrats. Having not turned over the articles, Dems can argue, strongly, that whatever cover-up clown show MM puts on is not legitimate and did not exonerate Trump (a much stronger argument than "an impeachment that isn't transmitted to the Senate is no impeachment" ). Once the articles are handed over, though, the illegitimacy argument becomes much more difficult. And Trump will use the Senate's vote to his benefit.

The bottom line here is: DON'T COOPERATE WITH FASCISTS. Make your arguments and stand proud in opposing their corruption. Call it out at every opportunity. They don't capitulate to what's true, principled and compassionate. We should never capitulate to lies, corruption and inhumanity.
