Reading (and listening) is fundamental...

"Pelosi signals move to send Impeachment case to Senate next week" - The New York Times

"Pelosi Announces She Will Send Impeachment Articles to Senate Next Week" - The Daily Beast

"Pelosi ends standoff with Senate Republicans over impeachment articles - She said she'll send articles of impeachment to the Senate next week." - Politico

No, NY Times, no, Daily Beast, no Politico - She did not move to send case to the senate, she didn't announce she'll send impeachment articles to senate next week. That's not what she said, damnit.

I sense the media would like to get on with things, but that's not what the Speaker wants. The articles will be referred to the Senate when the Speaker is good and ready. Her announcement today was that she has notified Chairman Nadler to be ready to do something next week, but there could be a long, long road from "get ready" to "here's the articles." She hasn't obligated herself to do anything yet, notwithstanding what the media would like to happen.
