We need to just end voter registration

It creates many problems and solves none. This would be a good subject to shove the hell out of the Overton window about.

Let anyone vote on either documentation or oath/affirmation of identity and residence.

Alternately, actually make the Social Security card an identity medium like a sane country, and then vote on that card and oath or affirmation of residence.

Voter registration is a solution in search of a problem, and pretty much only exists to keep lawful voters from voting. It's time to get rid of it.

You can't even use it for voter identification. It is a total waste of time.

5. Yeah - if they want photo ID for voting, put a picture on the voter registration card

Boom! Problem solved. Ever registered voter has a picture ID which proves they are the person who is registered to vote.

when and where a person is to vote, and of course make sure it's only once.

The SS card idea is good though.

volunteers doing data inputting. I've done phone-banking on campaigns from computer printouts with names, addresses, ages and phone numbers. There is cross referencing so duplicate registrations would raise red flags.

I wouldn't take that chance.

But you can't vote in multiple districts. All states cross-check voter registrations to ensure that people only vote once and are voting in the correct district.
