Tell Your State Rep: Don't Weaken Safety Rules For Drilling(for PA)

The Pennsylvania state House could vote any moment now on a bill that would put our waterways and drinking water supplies at risk of pollution from fracking.

Under this bill, oil and gas drillers would be allowed to replace groundwater they use in their drilling activities with contaminated water that's not safe to drink. It would also let companies not report oil spills if they are smaller than 200 gallons, even though a spill of that size could make people sick.

SB 790 already passed the state Senate. If we're going to have a good shot at stopping the House from following suit, we need to make sure every representative hears from his or her constituents before it's too late. Urge Your State Representative to Vote NO on SB 790.
