Trump's proposed legal team not as partisan or divisive as his House defenders

Which means they are more likely to attempt to argue about the facts of the case. That is a loser for Trump.

Also, Trump's choices will not play well on TV. People do not hold Ken Starr or Alan Dershowitz in high regard.

I give the advantage to the House Managers.

Trump can only win by division. He cannot win on facts, in my opinion.

They will argue the Constitution and Article II rights of the President. Also, they will argue that the President was in the right in everything he did.

But, they will not be jumping up and down and slinging shit like Jordan, Meadows, and Collins in the House. That will advantage the House Managers, in my opinion, and terribly disappoint Trump supporters. They do not care much about constitutional arguments or discussion.

but wouldn't any of their defense arguments be subject to cross examination by the House Managers and by the Senators?

I think it's a wonderfully inept argument on their part to argue Constitional Theory against a certain set of facts that are contrary to the theory you're arguing.
