what talent there is in the ranks of the members of the Democratic party.

But honestly, any politician with a conscience, a functioning brain, and the ability to coherently present complex verbal arguments has it all over Trump, and most of the Repugs.

In Schiff's words, I hear the timing and eloquence of Obama, and the passion of JFK.
His voice breaking mid sentence at times, is pure Martin Luther King.

Politics is about personality and connecting at a 'gut' level, not about a mastery of policy or eloquent speeches.

A basic understanding of the constitution or even appearance of competence is not longer required.

This is today's America.

Sure, why not.

As long as he gets buried in one.

Where ever he is, it's a good thing. He is not only doing an amazing job at the trial, but he is unifying and empowering the Democratic Party.

Plus, he's been talking for like ... what? Five years straight now and he's just a little vocally tired. That's an orator.

If you want, you can always send some money to his re-election campaign committee. For the House.

This is obviously her last term...and he's setting himself up perfectly to succeed her. The schmuck McCarthy will no doubt challenge him...but I don't see him getting anywhere.

Only conflict I can see is if Newsom runs for Senator...but I don't see that happening since he's still in his first term as governor. And in which case, Schiff could run for Govenor.
