In essence this "Senator X" said, "I was going to do the right thing, but my feelings got hurt."

He's just trying to deflect. Despicable.

is everyone so butt hurt about it? If my boss said that to me, I'd want to do everything in my power to get him gone. Their allegiance is astonishing given who we're dealing with. This man cares nothing for the rethugs other than for them to save his ass.
