The Republicans will own everything that comes next. Fate will be a big part of what happens next.
We have the facts on our side. We have the truth on our side. We have what is right on our side.
The Republicans have forced all of us down the path they have chosen through corrupt means. They will own everything from this moment on.
It is a hell of a thing when you watch your fellow Americans go corrupt, it is a hell of thing when you have to wait for fate to decide your future.

(22,129 posts)republicans' faces when rump does it once again (another horrible act or statement)...the excuses 'oh, he's new to the office' and other BS we all have heard is so off and so pathetic that I'll scream if I hear this idiotic excuse again. For a so called billionaire, rump is pathetically unprepared, and unworthy of this office. Evidence is mounting across the entire world of his incompetence.

(12,712 posts)a double entendre going with, "own everything", there.
In the other sense, yes, they will "own everything", that's the point of this whole debacle, Trump, et al. To me, it is very obvious that this is a power grab and owning the country is one way you can put it.
You don't expect them to have any concern about some historical perspective on their dishonor, do you? Does a dastardly deed doer have shame or will how it will make them look deter them from their actions?
In fact, if they succeed, they may feel they will be writing the history on it as the victors usually do.

(16,375 posts)At least history will show that the majority of Americans were in favor of removal and that the Republicans -- all of them -- were as corrupt and cowardly as their noxious leader.

(5,810 posts)We get the satisfaction of knowing the history books will get it right. Well know who was right and who was corrupt.
But the sadder part is we have to live with the outcome of this mess. I weep for our country and its people for what is happening.
