.

Low D3 is linked to the Spanish Flu epidemic, due to the recent reliance on canning from the war, which depletes most nutrients in food, poor food distributions and less labor to harvest crops. It also started during Winter.

Low D3 is also believed to be a major contributor to the Black Death, as that outbreak occurred after volcanic eruptions caused massive crop failures for three years and darkened the skies so less sunlight could give people natural D3.

Most flu outbreaks occur during wintertime, when sun is weaker in the northern hemisphere.

and density could be factors that accelerate the epidemic. I've read that it takes up to 2 weeks before the infection presents....in which case, the potential infected population could be staggering.

had a mortality rate of 10 to 20% and the world lost 3 to 6% of humans on the planet. It was exacerbated by people mobilized and returning home from WW1. Today we are even more mobile what with the interconnectedness of the world now rather than in 1918.

41 dead in about a month. During that time about 1.5 million people have died in China of various causes. So 41 is .003 of 1% of Chinese deaths. No, I am not buying a mask.

You’re far more likely to die of the flu and you can do something to prevent that. Get a flu shot, wash your hands often, and keep your hands away from your face.

Based on latest Jan 18th CDC official report for Oct 1 2019 to Jan 18 2020 so your advice is spot on. Also people should not hesitate to seek immediate medical attention for flu symptoms and lung problems

and wipe it down with lysol wipes when you get home. Health workers have the masks with a eye visor to protect the eyes - that is why i say glasses. Wear your mask on the plane as the air has been recycled through many flights. That is all i can think of off the top of my head. And finally, i am not a health expert. You should not take my advice but research maybe at the MAYO or Johns' Hopkins websites on how to protect you and your family as you travel.

Centura-St. Anthony Hospital in Lakewood is working with state health officials on the next steps for someone who may have coronavirus.

Gianna Lisac, a spokeswoman for the hospital, said the staff received a patient on Friday with a respiratory illness who had a history of travel from Wuhan, China. The patient has been placed in an isolation unit and is using a mask as a “precautionary measure.”

Test results will not be available for several days. Lisac said the health risk to the general public is low, though she didn’t know exactly what symptoms the patient had.
