And he had State Department bring her back to US. He knows this may be discovered and is nervous as hell.

others in State Dept cared enough to warn her to leave ASAP while he was in the loop about the Giuliani/Parnas smear campaign and willfully ignored what was going on and didn't care that her security could be in jeopardy.

Obviously his complacency and failure to support our Ambassador triggered his angry backlash against the NPR reporter who dared to ask if he had done anything to protect her.
