Trump does not like Ukraine. He sees them as a country that he wants to subjugate. But we already know that he's in love with Putin. So why would we believe anything that they have to say about Ukraine meddling with the 2016 election?

There are several motives for Trump to protect Russia. But the one we should be concerned with is that he wants to give Russia space to do it again in 2020.

EU should if not consider, then definitely work to reduce the reliance on Russian gas.
