Sending all best wishes

I do hear that this particular cancer isn’t the instant death sentence it was not long ago, so...that’s something to hold on to

Maybe if it’s early and localized, but it’s rarely caught at that stage. It sounds though that since surgery is still possible, there’s some hope, because surgery isn’t even an option once it has spread. I hope that’s the case.

A good friend was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer a year ago in late October. With the best possible medical team and treatment, including immunotherapy, he was gone by early April.

The average survival rate for stage 4 pancreatic cancer is still only 3 to 6 months.

BAD diagnosis— I’ll always associate “pancreatic cancer” with a dear friend’s father, who got sick in 1985, and was gone a short time later - so shocking - but yes, in his case, surgery was not an option, the cancer was too far gone...

Thank you for your reply, and we’ll remain hopeful that surgery will put Joyce’s cancer on the run permanently

since drumpf's lawyers are presenting his case right now.

Had no idea his wife was so sick. absolutely incredible he is able to do the job he has done for his country with that weighing on him.

A true Patriot.

I hope the doctors are able to do something positive for her cancer, but it is a tough one. I understand they are making progress on the treatment and I hope it is positive.

Been there. Needed to do that. It helped to save my sanity. Just a respite, however brief, can help so much.

I didn't expect to see him over New Year's this time, but that was because of the impending trial.

I lost my dad to pancreatic cancer, and my wife has battled cancer twice. She won. Both times! My dad did not. Both times my wife was ill, it took a LOT out of my schedule (as well as plenty out of her). I told the top brass that they could stick a fork in me because as long as she needed me I was going to be there for her. But they know her, and what an incredible woman she is, and supported me with "take as long as you need."

I know Jerry to be an incredibly conscientious man, and if his wife is this drastically ill, he HAS to take the time off. It's not a question of whether or not Pelosi can spare him. It's a question of whether or not his conscience can spare him, and no it can't. He is not a Republican.

As to Jerry, I wouldn't want to sit through Benedict Dotards lying sack of shit "defense" teams bullshit. I know we need to be there, but maybe someone can send the Democrats 500 barf bags. The only way I could make it through.....

Lost an uncle to that cancer many years ago, however his was inoperable. I’ll hold onto hope that Mrs. Nadler may have a much better outcome.

A thank you to Chairman Nadler, for valiantly taking time to tend to your country’s needs. Thank you to his family for sharing his attention with all of us out here.

I don’t know how I could manage emergencies of such magnitude in public and private life, but then again, I’m no Jerry Nadler.
