Hmmmm, is Lindsey Graham moving towards witness's?

Pelosi should go nuclear now, declare there's no congressional certification of any Trump victory later this year without witness's even though that would be hard seeing Pence is running the senate.

Your take?

It's an implicit threat to call the Bidens as witnesses.

Being able to ask Biden about his shoe size and what he was doing in Ukraine around the time his son was working at some company should be out as questions.

9. If the Trumpers call witnesses and they lie to congress during this trial

I would assume they would be liable to be charged with perjury and obstruction?

Not too sure I would want to be a witness for Trump under those circumstances. Shouldn't be too hard to prove one of Trump's witnesses is lying.

11. Lindsey's such a spineless goon, it's hard to tell what's going on from his reaction.

I wonder what the call logs are telling them? I’ve called every day. Both of them. I’ve never called my senator before. I’m going to call every day until this is over. Lindsey doesn’t care, he’s been there long enough that he knows how short the public’s memory is. In that respect he’ll only fold if he’s not leading the way. But some of these other more junior senators.....

I think the cancellation of todays impeachment briefing could be from a couple of sources, it could be marching orders from the top, where the last intelligent person has figured out this strategy they have zeroed in on isn’t going to net them exactly what they want. Or what if the call logs are blowing up in a nuclear way? That’s the only other thing that would get these idiots attention.

I have to think that after 3 years, all but he most die hard magats are about ready to abandon ship. I know there’s 20% that are just racist, intolerant, and all that, but anyone that’s paid any attention during this impeachment trial and is reasonable and sane is going to come down on our side of the argument. If that’s true, and if those people are calling their senators in significant numbers, that kind of a public groundswell would be the only thing that would garner the senate’s attention, even for a moment.

But that’s if the numbers are large enough. We need to keep calling, especially through the “defense” case presentation.

Every. Damned. Day.

Call.

Another unforced error.

What’s remarkable about this tweet thread by President Trump responding to specific allegations in #BoltonBook:

These statements by Trump may constitute a WAIVER of executive privilege!

Can’t publicly discuss the info, and then say @AmbJohnBolton can’t.

And they can what about right back at them. Why should they honor a subpoena if the administration doesn’t? Just fight it in court and point out why impeachment article two is so important by setting a precedent.
