Love and Gratitude for the City of Charlotte.

From all I can tell they were well prepared, gracious, and warmly received what was probably a big and rowdy crowd whose politics everyone didn't agree with. I hope we were good guests and changed a few minds along the way.

I lived in Charlotte for a couple of years a long time ago. It wanted very much to be a sophisticated Southern city then, and I think it has achieved that goal.
