Here's the exact transcript of the reporters' conversation with Dianne Feinstein,

as reported by Alayna Treene here:

Among other things, Feinstein says:

1) She was going to vote against impeachment (conviction) "before this"

2) There are nine months until the election, which is apparently related to her being against impeachment (conviction) "before this," as "the people should judge"

3) That she has learned so much about Trump's character and fitness for the presidency during the trial, and that's why she changed her mind on the question.

4) She won't commit to voting for a conviction.

Since she won't commit to voting to convict, "possibly going to vote to acquit" is still accurate muriel_volestrangler Jan 2020 #3

So far, we've had two major stories reported incorrectly: that Biden wouldn't commit to supporting Sanders if he's the nominee, and that DiFi was possibly going to vote to acquit. At least the first one was corrected; as of a few minutes ago, the L.A. Times' article still had the headline and first three paragraphs of their story making the original claim, with the disclaimer from Feinstein only appearing in the fourth paragraph.

(On the latter, I'm especially annoyed as I wasted my time preparing everything for a LBN post, only to find, as I went to cut and paste the first four paragraphs, that the last one contradicted the first three and the headline, which is all most people read.)

I interpret her remarks as saying the trial is making it more likely she'll vote to convict, but she won't say that it's 100% certain yet. And she's definitely saying that before the trial started, she was possibly going to acquit.
