Evacuation flight carrying 240 Americans from coronavirus epicenter Wuhan DIVERTED to military base

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7941211/Flight-carrying-240-Americans-evacuated-Wuhan-diverted-military-airbase.html

The US government chartered the plane to fly out diplomats from the US Consulate and other US citizens

It left before dawn and was due to make a refueling stop in Alaska before flying to Ontario, California

But late on Tuesday it was announced the flight would be diverted to March Air Reserve Base in Riverside

San Bernardino County Supervisor Curt Hagman made the announcement but gave no explanation as to why

The Department of Health and Human Services and CDC say 20 airports across the US will screen for the virus
China has cut off access to Wuhan and 16 other cities to prevent people from leaving and spreading the virus
In addition to the United States, countries including Japan and South Korea have also planned evacuations
The death toll in China now stands at 132; the number of confirmed cases there is nearing 6,000

All those hands he needs to shake at the State of the Union. Not to mention his hitler-rallies. He must be crawling out of his skin. Look for him to use this crisis to do something stupid.

dog cages to hold everyone in until we can see if they have it. I'm sure some private company could do that for about $750 per per day per person. That would include space blankets too.

Jetliner flying from Wuhan, China, arrives in Anchorage, where evacuated Americans are expected to be screened for coronavirus

Update, 11 p.m., Tuesday:

Approximately 200 Americans evacuated from Wuhan, China have landed in Anchorage where they will be screened for coronavirus, Clinton Bennett, a spokesman with the state health department, confirmed late Tuesday night.

The Kalitta Air flight landed at around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport.

The plane was visible at the airport’s isolated North Terminal, which officials said earlier in the day was set to receive and screen American passengers evacuated from the Chinese city where the coronavirus outbreak was first detected.

The flight, originally scheduled to land at the Ontario International Airport in California, is now scheduled to land at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, County, California, according to a video posted by Curt Hagman, an official with the Ontario airport, on Tuesday evening.
