I hope we have some congress critters put forth a bill disallowing IMPEACHED presidents from utilizing presidential pardons.

But I would be on board with limiting pardoning powers for an impeached president.

(2,598 posts)But I think that after Trump is out of office there will be at least some bipartisan support for amending the Constitution to limit the President's power to issue pardons.

Would you have advocated for President Clinton's powers to be limited during his impeachment?
