.
Rudy Giuliani delivered a letter in late 2018 to Sen. Lindsey Graham calling for sanctions on Ukrainian government officials, including a corruption reformer and another who ran the company whose board Hunter Biden served on.
The attorney for indicted Giuliani henchman Lev Parnas showed the letter to The Daily Beast, which reported the document described the Ukrainian politicians and business leaders as an organized crime syndicate and misspelled the GOP senators name as Lingsey.
Attorney Joseph Bondy told the website that Giuliani also showed Parnas a similar letter sent to Sigal Mandelker, then a top official at the U.S. Treasury Department, which enforces foreign sanctions.
It concerns me, as should any fellow American, that a taxpayers money is rudely been stolen in Ukraine [sic], that letter reads.

Wouldn't you love to see tRump sleeping on the sidewalk outside a former tRump tower?

(2,227 posts)Use RICO on the turd and make sure he (and spawn) dies penniless, in jail.

(1,990 posts)That's it? Then "showed the letter" to Mandelker at the Treasury Department?
I think we are getting bamboozled here.

(16,254 posts)Even if Parnas can't sit in the gallery, he will be there in spirit.
Bondy made me nervous when he stared at Rachel, but I'd love to see him do the same with Trump and even McConnell. Both would slither into piles of sweat and tears. We've earned the right to see that.

(63,868 posts)was seen on the panel last week with Rachel he was sitting next to her. May be he finds her fascinating.

(16,254 posts)You may be right, but it is a lost cause unless he's learning how to interview others.
He actually seems to be a gentle soul. His moves are certainly unusual in how he is keeping Parnas in the public eye. LEVitation.

(63,868 posts)a lost cause, but it was funny how he was mesmerized by her. But she is so thorough with her questioning.

(11,996 posts)That sort of supports trump, no?
On Edit: i.e. Describing Ukraine leaders AND BUSINESSMEN as syndicate doe not help! That is part of their defense!

(21,359 posts)What authority did Giuliani have to investigate Ukraine? This doesn't in the least support Trump, it shows how rogue Rudy was.
I'm more interested if reporters will ask Lindsey about the letter?

(11,996 posts)know what authority Guiliani had - clearly none other then from trump.

(2,227 posts)He is not a member of the US government.
He is the turd's personal henchman. That gives him NO governmental authority.

(2,596 posts)most of whom are oligarchs who have state-sponsored backing (i.e., those whom are Putin-backed). All Russian oligarchs - including Deripaska, whom Parnas-Fruman were working for/or funded by - are essentially made men. They are high tone mobsters, and Putin gets cuts from their profiteering (including percentages of their businesses). This has been going on since the bust-up of the Soviet Union, with Putin riding the cresting tide until he could gain a powerful foothold of leadership and then consolidated his power to run the new *empire*. As Pelosi said, "all roads lead to Putin", and she wasn't just referring to his hold on tRump. None of these people are autonomous actors.

(2,227 posts)Add to that Vlad's kompromat, and you have willfully treasonous republican senators (or ALL republican politicians... like NUNES!!!).
Vlad must have tons on Leningrad Lindsey.
(I have recently used "whore" in several of my posts, which does make me uncomfortable. But the word fits. I mean no disrespect to any sex workers, male or female. I think they may fall under "prostitutes"? Whore has always been pejorative, and can be applied to either sex. Although "prostitute" is certainly no glowing term of affection... , it does denote a needed service with a monetary reward. Treason doesn't fall into that category...)
