Compliment A Politician

Is trending on Twitter

First several I thought of

1. Sen Sherrod Brown senior Democratic Senator of Ohio
I agree with many of his political positions & policies.

He whipped Mike DeWines ass in 2006, taking the Senate
seat.

He was smart enough to marry Connie Schultz.

2. Rep Joyce Beatty, D, Ohio 3rd
from her wiki-
-long term political history, 1999- current as a WOC in Ohio

-She was the first female Democratic House Leader in Ohio
history.

-She has a seat on the Financial Services Committee, her questioning of Zuckerberg ..(

)

There are more examples on YouTube

The constituent care & outreach from her office is very good

3&4&5-Reps Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, and the House
Managers.

6- The Speaker

I'm stopping now, because I keep thinking of more.

If you want to add on, great, as much or as little info as you want

I sing his praises because he defeated Scott Walker, the man I despise almost as much as I despise Trump. I also like Evers because he, unlike Republicans in Wisconsin, supports education, improved infrastructure, fair wages, health care for all, and a long list of other things the people support but the Republicans oppose. He's limited in what he can do because Republicans, thanks to gerrymandering, have majority control but he's making a good effort and doing what he can.

and for very good reasons. In general, I would never, ever compliment him except for this one specific time when his actions touched me deeply.

Several years ago, the choir I’m in was performing at the opening of a huge international golf event. It was so huge that we were opening for Rascal Flatts and it was being televised internationally on the golf channel.

One of my dearest choir pals is a black woman in her late 70s. She has, for want of a better word, a “trick hip”. If she is walking and stops to change direction, her hip will sometimes give out, and she falls. She is not overweight, but she is tall and large boned. Itty bitty me could never catch her if she were to fall.

At the performance, we were walking out on stage. I was in the second row, and my friend was in the first row right below me. When she reached her place and stopped, her hip did its thing, and she began to fall. I tried to catch her but, before I could, a man in the first row jumped up and caught her before she hit the ground. I could hear him asking if she needed a chair, if she was ill or needed food, all of which she refused. I was struck by the kindness and concern this man showed my friend. However, I was too wrapped up in the moment and focusing on singing to really notice who he was.

At the end of our performance, this man, John Kasich (yeah..him..) was the first person to leap up and give us a standing ovation. He also checked in again with my friend. When we got offstage, she and I collapsed in laughter. That was John Freakin Kasich, Head Asshole of Ohio!!

We still think he’s an asshole, but he briefly showed a different side that night.

Nice to know this

Still 🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵that guy starting with being Gingrichs' lieutenant in the War on America in the early 90s.

Thx, luv2sing for a different perspective on him.

He sometimes gets pizza at a place hubby and I like. He’s always in full campaign mode. We always act like we’re out-of-town tourists who haven't a clue who he is. 😂

Jeff Sessions...he had just enough survival instinct to flee this ship of fools. All in all I'd rather see him in jail.

Lindsay Graham...he had the extraordinary good luck not to have been caught with a live boy or a dead girl.

John Bolton...he has had a decades-long hard on for Iranian oil but he wouldn't participate in Donnie Littlehands latest 'drug deal'.

For the life of me I can think of nothing nice to say about Trump, or Giuliani or Dershowitz or Barr or Jordan or Meadows or the rest...a house needs to fall on them.

One politician I would trust implicitly with my car keys or my kids...Elizabeth Warren.
