Bolton isn't about Democrats. He represents a Republican Party split

He represents a big fight in the R Party. It's much less about his being the darling of the Dems, oh my!

Makes me wonder why the press is emphasizing Dems regarding Bolton. But I don't have to ponder long, do I?

The press loathes to talk about Republicans in disarray.

5. Well Bolton isn't keen on the constitution either

He's just aggravated that we seem to be following no clear foreign policy, but rather the whims of a corrupt madperson.

I mean I am pretty sure that if Trump wanted to conquer the middle east and had a clear plan for doing so he'd be all in favor of that - but this kind of "We are Isolationist, unless I can make a buck or political gain or maybe hurt political enemies" policy isn't what Bolton wants.

or that's my take anyway.

8. That ought to be the story all over the press instead of the old, "The enemy of my enemy..." angle

It’s simple. It’s binary. No one watches a one horse horse race.

7. For sure - But they more often point to Dems in disarray even when in this case it's turned around

if they can point to Dems bleeding for their lead they go so far as to manufacture it. Even now when it's R's bloodletting the press still seek a Dem angle. We're shiny keys when the spotlight ought to be on the Republican 24/7.

4. It would be awesome if the repub party split.

And okay even, if a threat of a split would finally make senate repubs act responsibly. Not holding my breath though. I think you'd have to uproot most of GOP leadership to dig the corruption out.

They appear to be a very quiet bunch. And they certainly don't seem to be taking their case to the people ...

11. You bet they're quiet. They're terrified of Trump and his supporters

I'd say that they're in the ranks of Republicans who left office voluntarily and the voters who supported them.

I doubt that Bolton stands alone. I guess you do. So be it.
