If Jesus was our nominee, would he defeat Trump?

There is zero doubt that the evangelicals would choose Trump over Jesus. In fact, they already have.

Our favorite pundits would say. "he would not run the kind of campaign necessary to defeat" the Orange Orangutan. Although, who would be better at a scorched earth campaign than Jesus? Ever hear of, "The Fire Next Time?" In reference to the flood the first time.

Jesus fed his followers FOOD while Trump feeds his followers hate.

Yeah, yeah, there's that Turn the other cheek thing. It's a real weakness in a campaign.

Could you imagine Trump refusing the land that the Devil promised Jesus? Faster than the speed of light--that's how fast Trump would take the Devil's deal!

Do you ever get the feeling that America is on the wrong track?

It's presented as a poem that Ivan reads to Aloysha, in which Jesus appears among those condemned by the Spanish Inquisition. He performs miracles to convince the grand inquisitor that he is in fact Jesus, but this only makes the inquisitor more anxious to execute him.

"anyone who can appease a man's conscience can take his freedom away from him".

Movie announcer voice:

Jesus Christ. This is the man who took lunch away from a hard-working shepherd boy and gave it away to five thousand homeless layabouts.

The Temple Of Solomon Small Business Association calls him: 'The most dangerous man in Jerusalem'!

And Jesus Christ......is soft on adultery!

This election day, don't vote for a man who keeps raucous wedding parties well-supplied with alcohol.

Don't vote for a man who associates with tax collectors, prostitutes, and known terrorists.

That's really when conservatives took this country and started steering it off the cliff. I hope we're not past the point of no return, but then I look at people who support this POS administration that's in charge now and I do wonder if we've reached that point.

Jesus/Heaven as likely very boring. We are living in the times of the Capitol in the Hunger Games. Just give us entertainment and the ability to consume. Trump the entertainer is a natural for America.

Surrounded by angels, he would lose the Evangelicals vote as to Donald Trump as soon as Evangelicals noticed his dark/brown skin.

A better question is could he win the nomination.
