Around our house it's also "Alan Jeffrey-Epstein Dershowitz," and "Alan Claus-Von-Bulow Dershowitz" and "Alan OJ Dershowitz." As in "...the company you keep."

ALMOST makes me glad she isn't a Senator anymore. ALMOST.

But the bonus here, even after losing her reelection bid, is - just look at the forum she has now. She's no longer one-of-100. She has a single all-to-herself media platform that's much higher-profile and more influential among the public. Those soundbites from TV last forever. In the Senate, you can be as shrewd and vicious and blood-thirsty in the Senate as you can get away with, but if it's not covered on TV, and either nobody was there or heard about it or was recording it, or even knew to check C-SPAN, it's basically as though it didn't happen.

Now, she's a pundit who's on, A LOT, commenting and fact-checking and using her sense of humor and irony to skewer her targets with a VERY sharp and pointy verbal knife. And she has FABULOUS insider perspective.

To whit: earlier this morning when I was paying attention and taking notes in real time, she pointed out that John Bolton's PAC gave ten-thousand-dollar donations to Senators Thom Tillis, Tom Cotton, and Cory Gardner. And she wondered aloud about their objectivity if it came to obeying trump and voting against Bolton (and others) being brought in to testify as a fact-witness.

Her observation almost literally air-horned former RNC Chair/now pundit-in-his-own-right Michael Steele. He sat back in his chair and chuckled loudly with a big grin !!- "ah, Claire, you devil, you!"

SCORE!

And yes, she's OUR "devil"! And thank Heaven for that!

McCaskill had just exposed how the GOP rolls...
