...stating that the President believes the impeachment inquiry to be illegitimate and wasn't going to participate? That meant no documents. That meant no witnesses. That meant no legal defense. Trump never invoked executive privilege because he never sent witnesses. At all. THAT would have been the time to invoke said privilege.

But no...Trump instead claimed "absolute immunity," a completely STUPID claim, because it doesn't exist. And btw, "executive privilege" and "absolute immunity" are NOT the same thing.
