There will be LOTS of naysayers trying to make us apathetic and/or despondent

Don't let them. Don't do Putin's work for him. When they go low...DON'T BACK DOWN

I can't thank you guys enough though...self care is important...but so is sticking together.

Here's how we won....we. have. them. on. record.

When I see folks in despair I try to lift them up. We all need to take turns and even if you are not feeling optimistic
then ACT AS IF.

but I never could have imagined how potent and damaging the House managers could be. I feel sure that people who studiously avoided watching the House deliberations but who did watch the Senate "trial" learned a lot of stuff they never knew before, thanks to the magnificent job the House managers did. They got in all kinds of evidence and made a strong, moral case that I suspect was news to many people, and not just Republicans. The impeachment tars his record forever, no matter how much crowing he does on Twitter, and his support has to be crumbling among all but the most delusional of his supporters.

This whole exercise was definitely worth it.

and similar tropes of doom. Stop them in their tracks. That's what Trump and Putin want us to believe. I don't know why DUers would post such nonsense but let's shut it down before it becomes demoralizing.

"they took part in a conspiracy to hide the facts in a trial from the American people". Point out 75% of the people wanted to hear the witnesses, and 51 senators colluded to pervert the course of justice. And blame Trump as the guiding force for this, with his threats.

Every time a new snippet comes out, repeat it: "Senator X tried to hide this from the American people, to cover up illegal acts by their leader". We should be hearing that every day from now until November.
