About Clint Eastwood, you gotta ask yourself...

If he was attempting to elect the most important job in the nation, why did he put less effort into it than Any Which Way You Can?

How important was it to him really, to have done such a half-assed job on something he claims to care so much about?

His craft is telling a story and communicating. He can write, he can speak, he can act, where were those efforts and gifts on that night?

Did he perform anywhere near what he would have done for a paying gig?

Why didn't he even put any effort into it?

Clint did no favors to his legacy with this performance. StrictlyRockers Sep 2012 #1
Clint, much like Romney, is used to being fawned over, if you will. Lots of "yes men" in his milieu monmouth Sep 2012 #2

When he started to read his reviews he couldn't believe it. Everyone is supposed to just love everything that comes out of his mouth, just like they always have. Clint is in a different world when it comes to presidential politics, not at all like being the Mayor of Marin. He made an ass out of himself, he knows it, he doesn't like it. Like any true republican, someone must be blamed. The last place he'll look is at himself. Jerk..
