(47,625 posts)In 2016, Eric and Ivanka failed to register as republicans before the New York primary and didn't vote for their father. Couldn't be bothered to find out how to register.
Newest Reality
(12,712 posts)The fact that Junior doesn't seem to realize how irrelevant he is, (well below a palm reading or oracle consultation) and anything he says is like asking somebody on the street what they might thing of any random issue.
I don't think I have seen that much irrelevance for a public figure before. That is, unless you think of a slumlord grifter opportunist as meaningful or important in some way. Gosh, Dubya gets a real boost with this character because he was somewhat amusing at times, at least.

Also, you'd think that Republicons would be a little disturbed that breaking ranks means "no longer a member" of the party.
Donny Jr. just told them, blatantly that they are nothing but puppets.

(5,335 posts)For as much as I have deplored many of Mitt Romney's positions, statements and actions over the years, I have to deeply respect one thing about him. He's a man true to his religion and to his God, and he does his best to follow his moral compass, as he did in this case. It would have been easy for him to say the president did a bad thing and not vote to remove him like the others in his party have done, but he didn't do that. He took the more difficult road, he followed his conscience, and he has my respect for that. This is something trumpass the junior could never know.
