The passengers, all Chinese nationals, started exhibiting symptoms aboard the ship, which is returning from the Bahamas.

A federal official tells Eyewitness News there is no indication any of the passengers actually have coronavirus, and that these steps are being taken out of an abundance of caution.

tests out of 273 tested, they still have 3,700 more to test, on that ship alone.😳
This is becoming worse than any movie plot out there.

Which, of course, is prudent. But, the fact that Diamond Princess has such a high rate of incidence makes me think that this will get much worse in the coming month.

Bayonne Mayor Jimmy Davis tells NBC New York that one of the four travelers that had come from China for the Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas cruise through the Caribbean had a fever on the cruise. The person was given Tylenol and the fever went away.

Three others are under close observation for their health and they were taken to University Hospital in Newark, which has negative-pressure isolation rooms, the mayor said.

Ended up not being Coronavirus. Better safe than sorry. If it ends up not being the virus I hope they update the article. They did not do that last time. I had to search for info about the ship. Then I found out the tests were all negative. I have paid for 4 cabins for a cruise in June for our family. I will decide if we will cancel it next month.
