Census hiring was 250k hires alone. The hard numbers are about to pop. Lay offs up the Waaszoo are about to hit our Manufacturing Companies. All one needs for evidence is the crashing of Commodities. China,India,Pakistan, and others have announced closing of several Steel and Aluminum Plants. West bound Container Freight is still slipping. East Bound Tonnage is not picking up.

This is a Mar-A-Largo Economy my friends. Watch for Ford,GM,Chrysler, and others to start trimming Line workers shortly. We are seeing 2006 all over again. This time it will be the Banks once again.

Feds Powell is keeping the Repo Window open indefinitely. He is buying every bond no matter what quality in exchange for cash.

All about keeping the Market numbers up.

(John Mauldin of Mauldin Economics)

Luke Gromen of Forest for the Trees is one of my favorite macro thinkers. Like Louis Gave, he thinks the monetization plan will get more obvious in early 2020.

Those that believe that the Fed will begin undoing what it has done since September after the year-end “turn” are either going to be proven right or they are going to be proven wrong in Q1 2020. We strongly believe they will be proven wrong. If/when they are, the FFTT view that the Fed is “committed” to financing US deficits with its balance sheet may go from a fringe view to the mainstream.

Both parties in Congress are committed to more spending. No matter who is in the White House, they will encourage the Federal Reserve to engage in more quantitative easing so the deficit spending can continue and even grow.

As I have often noted, the next recession, whenever it happens, will bring a $2 trillion+ deficit, meaning a $40+ trillion dollar national debt by the end of the decade, at least $20 trillion of which will be on the Fed’s balance sheet. (My side bet is that in 2030 we will look back and see that I was an optimist.)

My 2020 forecast issue, which you’ll see after the holiday break, I’m planning to call “The Decade of Living Dangerously.” Sometime in the middle to late 2020s we will see a Great Reset that profoundly changes everything you know about money and investing.

Crisis isn’t simply coming. We are already in the early stages of it. I think we will look back at late 2019 as the beginning. This period will be rough but survivable if we prepare now. In fact, it will bring lots of exciting opportunities.

His writings are way over my head but I can get his drift......

Sad to say,we will need to run ugly deficits for at least five to seven years until Tax Collections catch up with new Tax policy. It takes about three years in order to get legislation through the Tax Committees and that is only if the Dems control both Houses as well as the Oval. Meaning as well, zero filibusterers.

Deficit Spending to the tune of several Trillion will have to be done just to right the ship of state before any new projects are even considered. Just the damage to the Social Welfare Programs are going to be in 3-5 trillion area alone. And that will happen even with any economic downturn witch may cause even more spending.

The Nation is in deep doo doo right now. All this Feds Repo money ends up on wall street the next morning in the form of By Backs.

It's an intriguing question. Does Fox believe that Trump or his spokesman (woman) may hurt him by their appearance? Or, maybe the WH gave a preview of what Grisham was going to say and they balked?

Seriously, if Fox also refused, something is going on behind the scenes we don't know about. Is is major donors who 'got' to Fox? Maybe the Reubliscum Senators who called in? Is the senior management finally fed-up with all his lies?

No kidding, something is afoot!
