Trump's actions on Friday were even more vindictive than we thought.

Apparently both LTC Vindman and Sondland were quietly planning on moving on from their respective roles on their own terms. Trump knew this and still decided to make an example out of them.

Completely disgusting. Shades of firing the retiring Andrew McCabe to deny him his benefits and then threatening prosecution of him.

Before they were fired, Gordon Sondland & Lt. Col. Vindman were quietly planning their own exits. Officials told Trump this was likely, & advised him to just let them leave on their own to spare himself the criticism of firing witnesses, but Trump disregarded that advice.

He just has to show that he is in control of everything. He can never just let anything be. He is such a miserable excuse of a human being.

When someone shows you who they are —
Believe them the first time.

tRump has told us who he is (frightening as that is) for a very long time. The problem is too many of us didn’t believe him the first time and here we are. It’s a little late for the tRumpers to come to their senses but hope springs eternal. My biggest fear is they gave him (or he TOOK) far too much power so it will be much harder to get rid of this cancer. But do not stop trying just because it is hard. Dictators and wannabee dictators like tRump come along every so often. But all will fall sooner or later. If nothing else the sand in their hour glass runs out.

so although their WH assignments are terminated they are both being reassigned other active duty military posts but it is a loss to our national security for their expertise and integrity to be lost from WH

Their firing will serve to show just that much more of what Trump is willing , if not itching, to do.

I’m don’t care if MAGATs get their hard on jollies over this. The military are paying attention, and this can’t be helping them serve their Commander in Chief with neutrality.

Trump is the kind of soulless person who waits until someone is walking out the door and has their back to him to rush up and shove them out to make it look like it was his idea to fire them all along.

His cowardice is in full display.

There is absolutely zero goodness or caring in him for anything other than himself. He is so ugly, totally hideous, inside and out and dumb as a rock as well. He's good at manipulation, because that's part of evil, but nothing else. Otherwise he's a total failure as a person, father, thief of the office, taking care of America and helping it's people. He's done the opposite of what he should be doing in every case, formenting hate and violence for his own personal fun & the destruction of our way of life.
