I think after tomorrow I am going to take a "news break" for a few days.

I had trouble sleeping again last night, I haven't slept well since November of 2016, but it is becoming more frequent. I detest letting him have room in my mind and heart. He doesn't deserve it!

I think I will get busy planting my seedlings to put under the grow light. Planting flowers and veggies always makes me happy. Plus if he cuts my social security I may need my garden in order to have something to eat.

He is a large orange, puss filled abscess.

EXACTLY the same thing not even three minutes ago.

I detest Trump (I almost never call him by his 'real' name) so much that it makes my head hurt. I cannot even fathom the notion of that noxious swine polluting the WH for another 4 years and shredding our Constitution even further, making a COMPLETE joke (versus a partial joke) of the SCOTUS. . .

I have to think of other things. He is so repulsive and has not one single redeeming quality-- not ONE.

I just feel I can't let my guard down for a moment. Maybe we should permanently stop our watching this train wreck in motion that seemingly will never end in our entire lives? the only thing that will happen is that our BP will go down by a lot.

Funny anecdote.....I go to my internal medicine doc every so many months. A few months ago I saw him for our normal 30 minute appointment. (I know, I pay extra for the time after 12 minutes!) He takes my BP after I have been at rest for a few minutes, takes it again at 15 minutes and again at 30 minutes. Between the 15 minute and 30 minute we started talking about politics...He must be a fellow Dem, and the 30 minute BP shocked him. He suggested that I stay off the internet and quit thinking so much and talking politics with anyone.....LOL LOL LOL

because truth and goodness will, in the American spirit, will win the day. trump is just an ugly reset of American values that will soon be demolished by rational folks in our next election.

"Trump" is on my trash by keyword list here on DU.

Nothing Trump says is true.

I'm not missing anything.

Realized I was slipping into hyper vigilant mode. That is not a healthy place for me.
So now we have weekend rule of no news, and just check out Impotus stuff for an hour at night.
Back to music and books.
Downside is less DU, but more appreciation for the lighter forums.

as the election gets closer, it will demand more attention, of course.
