Shawnee Mission teachers resigns during school board meeting

Kansas is making nasty cuts to education. Shawnee Mission is one of the best districts not just in Kansas but also as part of the KC metro. This teacher resigned after the board signed a contract that the teachers refused. 29 others were also on the agenda as having submitted resignations.

It's getting worse.

the cash cow for Kansas will not remain, and population in the state will decline. I don't think that there is a lot of growth in the KC area. I lived there for 30 years, and the only cranes I saw were for government supported projects.

Lee's Summit and Blue Springs are rapidly growing and more affordable.
