This Carter Page FISA bullshit

I'm so sick of the right trotting this crap out to "prove" the Russia thing was a "hoax".

https://www.cnn.com/2020/01/23/politics/fisa-carter-page-warrants/index.html

So here is the thing............. maybe some agents lied, stretched the truth, etc to get a FISA warrant. Maybe they should be fired. Maybe they should be EXECUTED for committing what appears to be the WORST atrocity in the history of the criminal justice system!

NONE OF THAT invalidates the YEARS of criminal investigation that went into the Mueller report. The meetings at drumpf tower didn't "spring into existence" the instant Carter Page was surveilled. Page didn't single handedly set up the back channel, or hack the DNC servers, or hire Cambridge Analytica, or work with Wikileaks, or do any of the other massive web of crimes perpetrated by dozens of corrupt traitors on our country.

You want to find some FBI wrongdoing? FINE. But none of that TAKES AWAY everything drumpf and his team did.

As a Democrat I very much appreciate the rights of the individual and the protections of the 4th amendment. But if the police search one person's car illegally and uncover from there a web of crime spanning dozens of people and millions of dollars, I don't think we should be turning a blind eye to the entire web.

And let's keep in perspective that TWO of the warrants were, even after the IG investigation, legal and above the board.

... Carter Page came to the attention of the FBI long before he joined the Trump campaign, as the Wall Street Journal and other news outlets have reported. In 2013, Russian spies tried to recruit Page as an intelligence source, and Page passed documents to an agent of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service ...

On Feb. 2, 2018, the New York Times’ annotation of the Nunes memo states, “In accusing the F.B.I. of omitting important information, this memo’s critics say the memo itself omits crucial context: other evidence that did not come from Mr. Steele, much of which remains classified. For example, it makes no note of the fact that Mr. Page attracted the F.B.I.’s interest in 2013, when agents came to believe that Russian spies were trying to recruit him. The F.B.I. obtained a FISA wiretap order then, as well, according to a person familiar with the matter” ...

On Feb. 4 2018, Jake Tapper on CNN’s State of the Union stated, “In 2013, 2014, Carter Page was spied on by the FBI in a different FISA warrant.”

On Feb. 5, 2018, CNN’s Justice Correspondent, Jessica Schneider said, “In 2014, the FBI began surveilling Page’s communications under a FISA warrant” ...
