Federal prosecutors are weighing new charges against associates of Rudy Giuliani in connection with a company that paid him $500,000, according to people familiar with the investigation.

Also, we should not assume that he only got one payment from them. I suspect the money came from Mr Firtash, the friend of Mr Putin?

against Giuliani, something they can't do directly. The evidence will be ready for the next administrator to pursue justice against Giuliani.
