Anne Glenn turns 100

She is an advocate for disabilities and communication disorders. John passed in December 2016. At the time of his death, they had been married for 73 years.

her husband was a great American hero, and 73 years married to anyone is an accomplishment.

because she overcame a pronounced stutter and they wanted to give hope and encouragement to others with this challenge.

I went to pay my respects when he was lying in repose in the State House rotunda. People lined up outside the building in freezing winter to see him. Biden gave a nice speech in tribute to him the next day at his service.
