I would like to express my condolences to all those here who have Trump voter family members.

I have, had friends, that are Trump voters. That was painful eliminating them from my life.. Thank goodness my immediate family is sane. They all hate Trump.

It must be incredibly painful for all of you who have parents, brothers, sisters, spouses, who have lost their minds. I am sorry and I wish you all the best.

My ex-husband was a decades long Democrat. In fact, he convinced ME to switch from being unaffiliated to registering as a Democrat. Then came the 2016 campaign. Everything changed. Through the indoctrination by FauxNews and right wing talk radio, along with some long road trips with my Repuke brother when they went on fishing trips together, my husband changed. I just couldn't comprehend how someone who was politically involved could flip so much. We had some vicious arguments. I hung on to the hope when trump started showing how horrible he was that my husband would come back around. I mean, things got so bad that I started sleeping in another room, and then they got even worse....to the point that I was locking and barricading my bedroom door. He was that full of hate.

Then I found out that he had actually even started an affair with another right wing nut. FINALLY I gave up all hope and filed for divorce.

Honestly, I don't need condolences. I do accept congratulations. I have one little bit of divorce business to complete before I'm completely done with the ass. It can't be done until the weather warms up. I've gone completely "no contact" with him and will stick to that until then. I've also cut off all ties with that Repuke brother.

It feels great to have them both out of my life.

On a personal level, it has been an amazing and exciting year. If I had known how awesome it would be I would have split with him a LONG time ago. But I had to go through the steps....learn my lessons.
