it's been a few years. It's brought back way to many truly awful memories of george w. moron* and his room full of crooked dopes.
is trump worse than moron*? in someways very much so, in other ways, exactly the same. I think he's worse in his obvious nature of stupidity and outright in your face glib ego, but regarding his crooked dealings; I think where as trump is inherently crooked, I think the moron* was marginally crooked but surrounded himself with some of the worst of the worst criminal minds.
How can I say that, when so much illegality is going on right now?
the difference is this: trump - in your face, has no concept of subtlety . bush* - behind the scenes criminality that distracted the public by using 9/11 and the various wars as smoke screen tools.
both of them are of the same ilk.

(42,641 posts)I would say Bush is and was a war criminal for lying the country into multiple wars to enhance his reelection chances.

listen to shock doctrine. if you haven't; read it, if you have; read it again. I had forgotten so much.
the only difference is that chaney and rumsfeld were behind it all. and I think moron* just went along for the ride. (he was crooked as well but in different manner)
so much of what is happening today can be traced right back to those morons.

The real damage of the Trump era is what is being done to our country long term. Trump is just a convenient grifter. They let him make millions while they stock the courts with 1930's throwbacks.

Trump is awful, but, IMHO, W was even worse.
This is kinda' like debating whether Hitler or Stalin was worse.
