I'm not worried for myself, as I have openly discussed my age, but some might want to remain silent.

That might inhibit some poll takers. It's not that we'd use it, but nefarious people might be profiling the site.

I suppose it's possible that if you're not a Star member you might start seeing ads for arthritis drugs and incontinence pads - I have no idea. :/

Yesterday someone asked if there was an age breakdown of DUers, so a poll was created to take a sample.

I've been here since 2001, and every few years someone runs an age poll.
