They'll be handed cheap face masks and latex gloves, and told to treat "those criminals" the same as before.
And then get even more fearfully pissy at the detainees as more around them starts getting seriously sick and die. Worse, they'll probably start taking more of their frustrations and fears out on their charges.
Just as all concentration camp guards end up. They sell their souls for a paycheck, and self medicate themselves so they won't wonder why they feel so empty and stupid when out of uniform.
And the "supervisors" - the policy makers- dont care about the staff at these camps, or how much exposure they and the rest of the local community are exposed to. And the staff all know it, no may how much they try to tell themselves otherwise.
It's all about cutting costs and making a profit for investors. Not lives or moral responsibility.

Most that have traveled for refugee status may be healthier than some of the old people out in the elements and homeless but yes all are a concern and the detainment is crowded to the point some have declared it completely inhumane and those are the ones where they are allowing access to monitor . Some places are not accessible at all.
With both populations expect them to be scapegoats as if it is their fault the lack of medical care
