I read (in the paper that Matson was saying to expect shortages if the dock workers fell ill.

(20,581 posts)Most mail would not work, especially Bloomberg's as it is high gloss heavyweight paper.
We may learn all about the chain that it takes to get our supplies.

(17,663 posts)A couple was struggling to stuff big packs of tp into their little car. It was way worse than the day before Super Bowl. People were nice but just way too crowded. When I got inside they were out of tp and tissue.
This was Iwilei Costco, near downtown Honolulu.

(38,187 posts)then dump that stock after this virus is done making people panic. The stocks were low then and about to get a big boost in sales. I should have gone with my gut feeling on that. Oh wait, I'm broke and can't afford to buy stock. Anyhow, TP is a big thing right now. It's all the rage.

I wonder if there is also a run on tin foil?
