My morning COVID-19 routine

While the coffee pot was brewing, I disinfected high touch items downstairs and put the Rainbow cleaner on high in the living room. I'll bring the Rainbow up to the master bedroom later to run on high when I go up there to make the bed and disinfect high touch areas on the second floor. The Rainbow also acts as a humidifier and I see by the hygrometers I have in the living room, dining room and kitchen that it's raised the RH downstairs by 6%. All three were reading 23% and now are reading 29%.

Making a shopping list for Saturday to restock. I have 2 $5 off if you spend at least $25 Dollar General coupons which I'll use. since i now replace the hand towels in the bathrooms daily, extra hand towels is one of the items I'll be getting.

I put away this morning 18 pounds of dried pinto and kidney beans that was given to me yesterday. I keep such stuff in large plastic totes in the basement. When ham goes on sale, I'll can as many quarts of ham and bean soup as possible.

Do you plant them indoors and later put out the seedlings/wee plants?

I’d like to do the same.

laundry. working up a grocery list in my head - then hoping the stores I shop at are not out of anything because of people stocking up. Last week I did not realize I was almost out of Lysol wipes. This week the stores may be out of them as well. Along with a few other things.

Oh well, back to my coffee

I'm confused why you need to do all of this unless you are surrounded by potentially sick people at all times.

"Prevention
Although there is no vaccine available to prevent infection with the new coronavirus, you can take steps to reduce your risk of infection. WHO and CDC recommend following the standard precautions for avoiding respiratory viruses:

Wash your hands often with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Cover your mouth and nose with your elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze.
Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth if your hands aren't clean.
Avoid close contact with anyone who is sick.
Avoid sharing dishes, glasses, bedding and other household items if you're sick.
Clean and disinfect surfaces you often touch.
Stay home from work, school and public areas if you're sick."

It takes awhile to learn new routines so I'm starting now.

Your regimen sounds good, particularly if you are living alone.

getting/transmitting this virus, but I applaud your efforts!!! Simple tasks performed daily by one person could ultimately save a life, who knows?? Am I overstating the case here? NO I AM NOT

Carry on, my friend

I know from experience that it takes awhile before a new routine becomes second nature so I'm starting now. If things get really serious, I'm already doing what should be done and have been doing it for some time.
