One of those places many parents allow their children to attend once or twice to avoid the guilt of saying "no", but where our kids lose all common sense and care for a full week.

This type of event could be our worst enemy, but we should include all mass public events where drugs and alcohol tend to destroy all caution (speaking from past experience in my youth).

deployed in Qatar, and I am helping my pregnant DIL while he's gone. We are currently pleading with him not to leave base, to go to a theme park in Doha, in 3 hours. We managed to stop him from going over the weekend, with cases popping up all over the middle east I wish he would stay put. The state dept. put out a statement last week, they were suspending liberty and leave within the Centcom area, apparently that was complete BS....of course it was.
