I got my census form today and filled it out

The only thing they are interested in is how many people in you house and what race they are.
Even if you are white they ask where your country of origin is like Germany, England, France.
I put European since I am mixed I guess. I have filled out the census forms before, they wanted to know
your education level, income and other questions. I guess now the race is all they care about.

They have asked about race, with specifics, in the past. Maybe only in the more detailed questionnaires.

One time they asked on one about national origin. I answered Welsh-German-English. They actually called me about it and I explained that those were the three most prominent nationalities in my genealogy - there is also Scottish, French, and a pinch of Swedish. I think that was the 1980 census.

Baltic countries. I put European, they can call if that confuses them. I doubt if there are many Americans that are
pure blooded anything.
