Just went to a Frys

in Mesa Arizona. Lots of people and empty shelves. Didn't look at the tp and paper towels. Canned veggies and fruit were nearly empty as well as the milk and meat. The items that were available was "cold and flu" medication lots of it. Wtf?? Wouldn't you think that if you were maybe gonna get a flu type virus that you might want to have some meds on hand?? I hope we can all settle down.
Seems like we're in a very bad movie but there's no stop button. Be safe and well.

Oddly enough, the supply of OTC expectorants and fever remedies is holding up well.

I don’t think a lot of people have taken the step of “what might I need for symptoms if I contract covid-19?” or they simply don’t know what they might need.

I have tons of Ibuprofen at home so I just bought Airborne and ... Nyquil. Nyquil is my go-to once real misery starts. You can't beat the Nyquil stupor.

I have some Halls cough drops around here somewhere, but if a real cough takes off I will regret the lack of Mucinex or the 'tussin. /smacks forehead. Oops.

* do not take antihistamines (these are included in lots of normal cold and allergy meds like DayQuil and NyQuil and Zyrtec and Benadryl) because these make the mucus in your lungs more dry and harder to get out

Still has lots of 'stuff' ... fyi ...

I think its good people aren't stocking up on cold/flu 'remedies', all they are is symptom relievers they don't make you get well faster.

Aspirin type stuff is wise to have in case of fever though.

I watched the old movies too - WHY were there still a few canned goods?

Were empty.

Was looking for rubbing alcohol 70 % or better and they weren’t in stock.

My Mother was a child of the Great Depression and always made sure we had enough canned foods and food in the freezer while I was growing up. So I am well prepared for a month in food by my upbringing.
