Wow. NPR All Things Considered beat the shit out of trump.

The mis-info, lies, apparent confusion, weird behavior. All thoroughly reported on. A refreshing thing to hear driving to get a pizza.

Was thinking of how times like these - global emergencies - bring out the very best, or very worst, of people. Trump is of course in the worst category. He is down there with trolls, spreaders of mis-info, and self serving snake oil salesmen. sucks that such a shit is our so-called president

Things shutting down here in theme park land but both the wife and I will still be going in. I worry for the low paid who have no benefits.

Peak of our harvest coming in the next couple of week. Collards, Kale, chard, mustard and cabbage will swamp us soon. But there is room in the freezer and my kraut crocks are ready. Looks like our second planting will bolt before the are really ready. It is already summer here 2 months early. You ever ground mustard seed to make mustard? Kind of wanting to try.

Eating Home Grown Tomatoes every night.

Ok. Thread hijack over.

Stay safe.

Just kidding-- It's Still snowing here, and after a long winter as caretaker for elderly mother--think health induced social isolation--and now facing more--and having a farm with Large Garden--basements full of canning supplies--still not quite fit to work in fields yet--and as you well know--nothing beats the taste of HOME GROWN TOMATOES

In July or so, it will be 90 degrees here with lows in the 80s and rain everyday. I Might be able to grow Okra and eggplant from May till October. And they will probably rot as well. Even herbs rot.

Have a great evening. I hope you and you mother stay healthy.

That Trump's budget submitted a few months ago called for the total elimination of govt funding for NPR.
Surprised he didn't propose just shifting their funding over to FOX.

back in 94? with his contract on america, and NPR knuckled under to the right wing by playing a constant he said she said.
they have never been the same. Maybe they will switch back......I've noticed Chris Mathews (tweety bird) and several others appear to be doing an about face....a while back Joe Scarbrough flipped also.......

They'll get my money again.

I haven't donated to them since the Bag (Diane Rehms) and Hag (Barbara Haggerty) went far out of their way, day in, day out, to do just that in 2004. The Bag let Kerry get trashed nearly every day without even trying to correct the lies told about him, and the Hag had a known evangelical agenda she was pushing to hate on the non-religious.

They're also one of the worst offenders of the whataboutist both sides false equivalence nonsense.

NEVER AGAIN.

Misogynize much? You may not have loved every moment of her coverage but Diane Rehm was and probably is on our side. Relitigating 2004 in 2020 is probably not going to help Democrats very much.

criminal negligence in refusing to take the WHO test kits for the virus and then mismanaging the entire process of developing the diagnostics. I think there's more to the story and I sure hope a really good investigative reporter digs into it. The excuses I've heard don't ring true. At all.

There's no excuse for not having those tests available. None.
