Shame on Hill Restaurant Group.
Defying a public health mandate in the midst of an unfolding Pandemic.

Finn’s
Hawk and Dove
Tortuga
Lola’s
Willie’s
Ophelia’s Fish House
Orchid

Yes, all the staff & workers need help and relief - Congress needs to act on that too.

If restaurant staff choose to get sick and die, that's their problem, but they'd better line up a replacement for their shift or there will be heck to pay. Heck, I say!

They should be bankrupted by boycott during and after this event.

This will be a good legal test of the ability of local government to make decisions designed to protect people over profits.

Lock 'em down and Lock 'em up.

Of course the city could cut their water, gas, sewer and power. Let the bastards sue to get the services restored.

But I did, proactively, a couple days ago. Because I care about my community. An extra few days or a week of business isn't going to make the difference, I am fucked either way. It is almost all gonna be shut soon, and it should be now.

It's one thing to wait until a mayor or governor tells you to shut down. It's another to defy that guidance. Unconscionable.

There is no stopping this virus now. All we can do is slow it down and hope the health care system can keep up.

several bars on Lower Broadway defying orders to shut down. The owner of all of them was a backer of the mayor's opponent in the last election.

Ignorance and their love of the almighty dollar will cost lives. Watching the city council meeting last night on this was just infuriating.

These are bars that had 'trump' banners hanging from them during the election.

Guess they think it's a hoax.

they're calling it 'unconstitutional'....
