Should I take my child to the dentist?

North Carolina here. My daughter is scheduled this week for braces check and any necessary adjustments. Should we cancel considering that things are getting worse (Covid19) and we don't know when a future appointment might be available (months)? Is there any danger to not having braces adjusted?

Cosmetic dentistry but is adjusting braces "routine care"? One of her braces brackets has come undone and I don't know if this might become a bigger problem down the road when it is likely to be more difficult circumstances.

Unless you have an elderly person in your household, I would bring her in. This might be her last chance for a while.

Until things are known and under control , because it could be something later regretted. I did have a Dentists appmt on Aprl 1st that the office has already called, and I moved to a much later date, and still subject to being again changed if needed, which I think it will be. Also canceled numerous doctor appointments too until its safer. Its just to dangerous for me . If the CDC is recommending that I would cancel.

teeth were fine. Actually I got chicken pox two weeks later, I actually missed 2 consecutive appts. I had an RPE expander at the time as well.

It will simply lead to a slightly longer treatment time.

You have to judge risk vs benefits. In this case I’d say: wait

I’m a dentist btw.
