So, I have this date that keeps coming up on my phone calendar

We had tickets for a community theater production in early April. It’s been canceled already.

I should delete it from my phone. But I haven’t for some reason.

Every time I see it, it reminds me that I used to have a life. One that doesn’t exist any more. One that won’t exist again.

I lost my job. I can’t find another one. I’m to old for anyone to hire me anyway but too young to retire.

I’m not the only one I know, but damn, I just want my life back.

I should really delete that thing from my phone!

We all need each other right now.

This situation - coupled with the numerous information around that older people should just be written off if they get this virus has me a little unsettled these days.

worry about working to pay the bills.

Just work for what I enjoy and feel to be worthwhile, not because the cable bill is due.

At this point in my life, even with very little future compared to my past life, I have learned, if nothing else, that as bad as it gets, it's never really that bad.
