Trump..."it's been the story of life that the well connected go to the front of line"

Kyle Griffin@kylegriffin1·1h
NBC's Peter Alexander: "How are non-symptomatic professional athletes getting tests while others ... can't get them. Do the well-connected go to the front of the line? ... Should that happen?"

Trump: "No, I wouldn't say so, but perhaps that's been the story of life."

Which is what baffles me about the elite's opposition to universal health care. There will always be rich folks who don't want to wait their turn, and there will always be clinics and other providers who will cater to them. But the prospect of the hoi polloi getting to see a medical professional is so repugnant to the overrich that they must do everything they can to stop universal health care, even though it won't affect them at all.

But every time we want to elect someone who will tax them and even things out a bit...

Well, there isn't too much support for it anywhere.

I live in the land of trophy homes and those folks all showed up last week, helped clean out the grocery stores and will fill up the local hospitals so that we locals will be left out. They are already here. I bet if you go to the nearby airports, they will be packed with private aircraft. I've seen numerous small jets flying in during the past week.
